Definitely, the recipe for Home-made hand sanitizer is a fun way to prevent the spread of Ebola, protect yourself and put money in your pocket as well!!

It’s not rocket science (although it’s not a bad idea to learn the business of rocket science!) but simple chemistry. So let’s go!

Get the following ingredients; 

1.99% Rubbing alcohol (Isopropyl alcohol) or ethanol. 

2.Gel extract from matured leaves of Aloe-vera plant

3.Essential oil available as food flavors(e.g peppermint oil, lavender, vanilla)

4.Vitamin A (optional as a preservative for the essential oil).

5.Clean clear bottles (one big and few smaller ones)

Step-by-step guide

Step 1.

Measure 2/3 Cup of the 99% ethanol into an empty clean glass bottle( final sanitizer is mixed in ratio 3:1 with the aloe extract).

Step 2.

Measure 1/3 Cup of the filtered extract from the Aloe vera leaves and transfer into the bottle containing the ethanol

Step 3.

Add 8-10 drops of the essential oil to the mixture (with or without 2drops of the Vitamin A)

Step 4.

Close the bottle lid tightly and shake the bottle until the mixture is mixed homogeneous. 

Step 5.

Transfer into previously washed smaller bottles of used hand sanitizer bottles.

And you are good to go ahead and enjoy your Homemade hand sanitizer!!!!
