Yes, I left a US$500k+ job in London.

It was the toughest decision I’ve made in my life. And it wasn’t easy sticking with it as I could have easily done a u-turn and gone back into investment banking.

Did I have regrets? Yes, often.

Was it easy ? No, not at all. Getting my feet on the ground without any guidance was damn tough – there were many times I felt totally incompetent.

*Do I have regrets?* No, because investment banking would have destroyed my soul, I’ve made more money in business than I would have in IB, and I love what I’m doing.

And, most importantly, I don’t live with the regret of never having tried.
